Laura, just so you know the pages of Frecklebox's books are coated with plastic, kind of like lamination, and are very durable and touch to rip or tear. When my child was at the board book stage she used to drool all over and chew on the edges. Bits of the cardboard would come off and the illustration with it. That wouldn't not happen with these books. Our neighbor was over with her 18 month old and she wasn't able to damage the book and believe me she tried!

Hopefully in the future we can offer both types. Since my youngest is 11 I miss my children chewing on stuff. Thanks for the comments.

I like the idea. "toddler books" are terrific. They are made of a more durable material but are regular size (not tiny board book size) so they are great for sharing.
